Parking Lot Shadow

As I was composing this shot a woman walked through the parking lot towards me. She looked at me,
looked at the wall and then looked back at me. I said, "The lamp and its shadow." She said, "I guess
you have to learn some way." I answered, "Yep."

Ahh but it's not only the lamp and it's shadow.. but the light textured brick wall, the dappled shadows dancing across it.. and even.. that little missing brick at the bottom... Not to mention the cool 90 degree angle the lamp & shadow make. ;)

Love it. It's funny that nonphotographers only understand snapshots. Photos are to record people and events and nothing else. I wonder if these people ever buy photos for wall art. If they do, they're probably scenics or something.
