I made it back to New Jersey. It was definitely a change of scenery.
I have to admit that I spent the greater part of the day sleeping, which was very, very different compared to the past week or so! I am gearing up to head back to work and just needed one day to "recover". I guess I'm not young enough to vacation the way I used to!
I met up with some friends for dinner. Ray ordered the prime rib. I guess this is what they call medium rare at the Outback! I've never been to Australia but I was surprised. Anyway, Ray ate the whole thing (as did I with my steak).
It was a nice dinner and a very nice way to spend my first evening back.
Thanks to the friends who looked after things when I was away and those who made me feel missed when I got back.
