you have done what i do, i often when i get so close leave a tiny bit of the background for relief? or context? or contrast... i like the tiny bit of sky top left, it adds something important to me

vote, the bending few leaves add a ll the interest to me, and you are so tight on it, which is what i also like... ive wanted sunflowers every year... this year a plnted 7- 8 seeds where i go to meetings... and yesterday i was greeted by a muti stemed branching gloreous susnflower, i was so happy!!! i shot it more carefully that usual, and unless something else distracts me more, i will make it my pad today Steven... in a few hours when i get to library wireless, i love this shot

Excellent portrait of a sunflower. The bright colors get my attention immediately then the pattern pulls me to the center of the flower. Almost hypnotic!
