21 March

Henderson's Relish - to be found in almost every kitchen cupboard in Sheffield!
Worcestershire sauce - No way - Has to be Henderson's. Also we had no worries during the recent Sudan 1 scare.
A 'must have' accompaniment for meat'n tatie pie and mushy peas. Mmm.
I would be interested to know if anyone outside Sheffield has heard of it.
More info can be found at http://www.hendersonsrelish.com
Update for our friends outside the UK - Mushy peas are dried marrowfat peas which have been soaked overnight and then boiled.
Sound awful don't they but they're delicious. Also served traditionally with fish and chips.

What's mushy peas? Sounds like they'd need a little Henderson's. Nice shot. I like the perspective you selected.

Never heard of it I'm afraid. Makes for an interesting PAD.

Yes - I buy it regularly - unlike that other relish - Worcestershire Sauce has anchovies in), it is completely vegetarian and is also completely delicious. It's available in health food stores up and down the land so if you've not experienced it go get some!!!
