I simply loved this pose of this small coyote actually smelling the flowers. I am sure that she was smelling for a totally different reason than we do (heck my dog loves to smell the most rancid things) but she did seem to enjoy it. Most of the flowers in Death Valley were of the Yellow type but from time to time, you would see pockets of the most vivid purple flowers like what is behind this coyote in this photograph.

Once again, notice how well she blends into the background making it almost difficult to see the coyote's form.
