14-03-05 muddy waters

One of the advantages we were looking forward to when we moved was being able to get out on our
bikes without the need to drag them down 4 floors.

So on our first day of work we left home early, at around 7.15am, did a day in the office, and left
the office at just after 4pm. By 4.40 we were out in the countryside (accompanied by anguished
cries, when I realised the Oly was still in the house). My folks live just out of Aberdeen in a
town called Kingswells. It has the advantage that all around the land's owned by the forrestry
commission, who have laid out several gravel paths. And if ledgend be beleived, or at least a
woman who walks her dog out on the moorland we were cycling on, there's a big cat lurking too.

Well I saw something big, black and shambling later on, but that was myself covered head to foot in
mud. No big cat's (I don't think Jess really counts, no matter how tough she thinks she is), but
i'll keep you updated on that situation!

Wow! You've traveled through a lot of mud. It sounds like a fun trip.

Oh I like this alot. The perspective and use of b&w really isolates the crit. Well done!!! (I am a road biker and like seeing a bike that is used.)
