Day 68 Laryl

March 9

I was so happy to see the little gecko on the porch again tonight....
it's been months, since before the condo painting that I saw one so
I was worried they got pushed out of where ever they live with the stucco
repair. This is a little night gecko, as you can tell by the size of the
stucco wall.. it's very tiny, only 3 inches long I bet.

.. I call this wonderful snapshot art: "Gecko On Stucco" :)

other sizes: small medium original auto

Very nice capture of a Mediterranean Gecko. These are great creatures to have around because of all of the insects they eat.

What a delicacy! This guy goes a bit far in camo to have stucco bumps on his body. Good pose and textures and rendition and title.

This is just laovel Laryl... and I'll be sure to keep Cassie away (though she's likely to be terrified of anything that moves anyway!)

So that's what a real gecko looks like. Not at all like the one on the Geico commercials. :) Cute little guy.

Excellent image. These are such amazing creatures. I'm glad you didn't lose him during the painting.

have to chuckle at Wei.. what do you mean "looks real" ? it IS real.. or did you mean that the photo does look so real.. They are wild here, and this one lives around my front porch where there are some nice little bugs to eat.. obviously by the dark tummy, he's not starving I think they are pretty neat little guys and was so happy to see this one.

I'm always fascinated with their naked, almost transparent little bodies.
