Steve, since June 2003 I've been using a Nikon D100. This photo, along with most of my small bird photographs, was taken using a Nikon 500mm AF-I F4. I also use the Nikon AF-S 70-200VR, their AF 200 Micro and their 28-105 AF zoom. The later lens has been used to produce many of my butterfly photographs, being used the most because of its nice macro facility and the fact that it's so light to carry around.

Thank-you! If nothing else this photo shows the value of the Photoshop CS Shadows/Highlights filter. The composition however was my own, placing the camera tripod in the water of the loch to get the face-on view.
