No, this isn't a Stork Turkey (or a Turkey Stork); it's a stork on a rooftop (actually, a chimney) in a little town south of Izmir, Turkey. It was shot from the window of a small hotel where I was staying. It was late February, and it was on the chilly side, so I'm not sure if this stork was nesting or just bundling up for a cold evening. This little town had storks on lots of chimney tops; maybe they were ready for a baby boom.
PS - Crop (actually had to crop out a lot of roof and building wall, so I probably lost some sharpness in the process); level adjustment; a little brightness/contrast boost; usm (not as much as usual, since the pattern in the roof tiles accentuated any oversharpening); frame and sign.
