Very interesting contrast- not so much color wise, but between the upper and lower half .
Frozen in action above, moving and jumping at you below.
Made me think about trying something like that without the frozen water- make two exposures of a waterfall- one frozen in action, one long time- and then combine them split into falling and moving water-one or the other frozen....

Ah! Freezing water! We only have another month (or so) to go in MN. I like this shot, how you have captured some color and life amidst the frozen - the water spreading out at the bottom really gives the picture some punch! Thanks - Brent

great start to the challenge Phil! - i really enjoy the comp, and the contrast between the static and flowing h2o - i'm enough of an e1 newbie to still be blown away by the DR of this sensor. thanx for this one. adrianox
