The dividing of the ducks is a immature bald eagle sitting on the ice right between them
just out of frame.

Would love to see this one a little larger Dave, its such a nice photo. What is it that aligns the ducks? It almost looks like they are on a rope. Very cool shot.

The others have said it already but I'll repeat it anyways: I love the simple and minimalistic composition. And your cropping is very effective. IMO, this shot would also work really well in B&W.

Well done!

Dave, I really like the simple, minimal composition...and the way you presented this "wide-angle" view. The trail that's left in the water connects the two, yet sends them apart. Well seen and captured. MFC

Very Original shot Dave. almost like a Japanese painting.. It seems the ducks have really unified to draw a borderline in the sea..most interesting . love the mininmalism and the format of the composition and the airy feel to this water scene.. A Beautiful linear connection/Unique capture~Irish
