Neil, I love this image. I can (and have been) staring at this image since you posted it. Yes the composition is great (the placement of the peppers, the hole in the cutting board) but it's the lighting that nails it for me. Your use of shadows to frame the peppers is brilliant. The soft, subtle lighting on the peppers darkens and enriches the colors perfectly. The lighting brings out every cut mark on the cutting board giving the image great texture. The is a fantastic image!! Marc B
