Straight out of the camera at about 2pm, no tittivation whatsoever....

This was the scene that greeted me this afternoon as I turned round. I had just spent most of the
last half hour removing a pendant light fitting from our living room. I'd never tried doing any
electrical work before in the house, I was always so scared that we'd pay someone to come in and do
it. This time round I thought sod it, why not. It was certainly a lot easier than installing my
cinema sound, and there were fewer tantrums involved too.

All in all a pretty good day, we also had confirmation that the foundations on our house will be
started next week. So looks as though it will mean less time with parents. Added to that, demand
for houses on the estate we've bought on is so high, that the price of a house is rocketing. Obviously
this is in a large part due to me!

Back to more box packing tomorrow, before attempting to break down the aforementioned cinema sound
kit, along with a couple of other jobs.
