Mar 4th

This was taken on the walk home from the Colbar, one of my favourite eating places in Singapore.
The original Colbar was demolished to make way for a new road but due to public outcry (a rare thing in Singapore) an exact replica was built - right down to the cracks in the floor - a few hundred meters away.

The railway is owned by Malaysia so you're walking through Malaysia as you cross the tracks.

other sizes: small medium original auto

I get scared taking pictures at night, though they are my favorite.
I'm not afraid of the dark, I just have quite an imagination.

Nice shot, if this is near the Mosque I know exactly where it is and have a frind who lives just a little farther up the tracks, Singapore's a tiny place!

Actually the orange glow in the sky is the city lights, not the setting sun (although it does look like late sunset). The side lighting is fluorescent light coming from a little mosque by the side of the railway. This is one of my favourite spots in Singapore - in places it's like stepping back 50 years.

Wonderful! Yes I like how the stars appear the further you get from the setting sun. Very nice timing.

Very interesting composition. I like the colors you selected and the twinkling stars.
