Decided we'd help the little guy out and station a ladder next to the pole he climbed up on. Well, he isn't acting real bright so we decided to entice him a bit further with a cracked egg in a dish. Well, as you can see, this is about as far as we're taking this one! He isn't making any noises, but this was close enough to show those teeth and he's got a decent set. :)
