03-03-05 coatstand/ coatrack/hatstand

Pretty much achieved the look I wanted for this photo tonight. Although I think I may gone slightly
too heavy with the noise added, not too sure though. This is the coatstand that sits in the corner
of the office. Funny how sometimes you take things for granted without looking closely at them.
Opportunities all round, that go past without notice, until one day something different catches your eye.

Long day at work, followed by fighting my way through the crowds during late night shopping.
Finally got home to a warm welcome, and a warmer meal. Now I'm off to enjoy the rest of the evening,
with a glass of Rioja & the remains of the English Patient (although not in a Dr Lecter kind of way)!

addendum - never thought the naming of a household item could cause so much controversy!

I the more refined parts of Glasgow (the parts where I lived), these are called hatstands. Only the nyaffs (or people from the east) call them anything else! ;-)

Cool shot, I like the subtle tones. I'd like to see an action pic of you throwing a hat at it!!

Mentioning a movie with Juliette Binoche in it make it hard for me to separate those curves with the ones in the photo. I'll try though. :) Nice curves. There, I've said it. Seriously, nice catch and a good reminder to keep our eyes open for subtle prizes.

Good shot - and definitely get the coat off and rack and on your shoulders before taking the shot! On the way out, mate!

Who has the better eye...you or Zak..LOL!! Your right about opportunities being all around & this was an obvious in the end. Nice one Dom.
