Frame numbers 10, 11 and 12 from a series of Agfachrome slides I shot in 1985.
Thanks to modern Photoshop CS, we can see what was meant to be seen in the shadows beneath
the sun-drenched skies above El Petén.
The middle slide is the ruined roof comb that we climbed to for the vantage point observed. I got this shot just
before being reprimanded and escorted away by a TIKAL guard. The same thing happened to me atop the observatory
at Chichén Itzá
