01-OCT-2004 Penelope

Trail by Penelope

What you are looking at here is the remains of my breakfast!
The plate was blue and square, the trail is runny Greek honey
and the seeds and crumbs are all that remains of the excellent home made bread.
I was doing some tests with depth of field at the time and spotted this composition.
Quickly I grabbed the Sony, and despite the inane remarks of the assembled company,
I started to take photos...

Very nice abstract, Penelope. Love the color and trail of honey. Did a double-take when I read it was the "remains" of your breakfast, LOL. Helen

Ideally, I would have liked to have seen more DOF from foreground to background, but this is a very good shot nonetheless. Well seen!

Remains of your breakfast? I surely hope that means BEFORE it was digested LOL.
You are just like me.... we'll photograph ANYthing :-) Now, I happen to like the color and the textures and liquid flow. Very interesting. Markjay

Penelope, I really like the color, the lighting, and the simplicity of this abstract. It's neat to follow all the paths here...and I especially like the way the "river" of water makes it's way thru the scene. Again, I'm sooo curious as to what I'm exactly looking at...concrete with some fallen seeds?pebbles? Please enlighten me. Well seen & taken. MFC

Penelope...I am really enjoying the randomness of this composition and the beauty in your water line, especially where it loops and shines..Where it leads no one knows..This is a fine example of the ART in the small details of life..They[who are they?] do say God is in the details. Very well seen and recorded!...Irish
