I tried to capture the sunlight upon its pedals and liked the effect I got from this.

I go with this one, too - I light the exposure the best and the composition is terrific, too.

I think this is my favorite for lighting.. if you look at the petals there are no white "blown out" places... just detail and a bit of shadow with the light. Try to hit the contrast slider to the right just a tad. Pbase tends to make photos a bit flat.. dunno why. Nicely compsed and like i said.. the lighting is good here.
