There is an optical illusional quality to this picture. I need to look closely to decide which way the poppy is opening. Am I looking up from the bottom and somehow seeing through the petals, or is the flower gently slanted to me? I love this puzzle - I want to stay here longer.
I also love the light - the way the arc of the flower seems a reflection of the bright arc of the sun.
