These little critters are TOUGH to capture! They don't let you get close enough. Believe me, the 100% crop of this photo wasn't much bigger than the uploaded one! I'll let you in on a secret: I cheat! I sit around the yard for hours just waiting for birds to happen by! I would probably be more successful if I used a blind (there are many birds that are too smart to come back once they've spotted me - the rest forget that I am there after a while), but I like "stalking" them. :)
