I remember that I was somewhat puzzled and fascinated by all food trolleys in large US cities. Coming from Sweden, where these mobile food providers were banned from a health perspective, this was something really odd. But, as like with so many other things that made large cities different some twenty years ago, Sweden has become more international (filthy food trolleys can be seen everywhere nowadays) and others have become more “Swedish” (i.e. more Zero-Tolerance, hygienic, rational – not all positive…). Beijing and Frankfurt are today not that different after all…
