Well, unfortunately, it was so bright
that I could only get a fast shutter speed (a shocking turn around)
What is actually happening is the entire right
side of the hill is being blown off.

This was the first time I actually saw a blasting like this.
It was amazing. It may look like I am close,
but I am hundreds of feet away.
I was standing with the blasting company,
and the fire supervisor.

I did an animated GIF of it with all the shots,
but the thing is huge.
