Not for the Faint of Heart
Day 285

Ready??
All together now!
ONE! TWO! THREE!
HEAVE!
Let's overthrow winter!
~-~-~-~

About two hours after these were taken, the temperature had dropped and a sleety, slushy snow was falling...

Look -- I remembered to put my scarf and shoes on!
Actually, I'm fighting a sore throat and earache right now that I'm sure wasn't helped by my PaD a couple of days ago.
You can just see Tash through the glass in the shot above, wondering why she can't come out too.

Gee, are you sure that rock isn't a fossilized egg? I'll bet you could crack it, cook it up with some of those tender shoots, and it would still taste good!

Nice photo - we're already halfway through our own spring in lowland California.

Amazing. The daffodils (?) are coming up. This is a great shot with the green against the gray of winter.

It was 80 here today .... I decided to brave the snowbirds (who all seem to have no idea where they're going and clog up the roads) so, I'd like to overthrow winter if only to keep them up north!!

Carmen this shot is outstanding! the details are
fantastic and the little shoots must wish they were
still under the leaves. Are they crocuses?
