The Golden Driller
The Golden Driller was originally built for the 1953 International Petroleum Exhibition by the
Mid-Continent Company. The statue that appears today was erected in 1966, and is a permanent
feature on the Tulsa State Fairgrounds, standing in front of the International Petroleum
Exhibition hall.
