Frostop on Jefferson Highway

Metaire, Louisiana

The Frostop on Jefferson Highway. There were at one time almost a dozen of these
burger stands around. Their signiture sign was a root beer mug atop a poll or
on the roof. The mug is almost a story high. This one of two still left in the city.

I wish that you still saw signs like this as often as you used to. Marketing has changed to the internet so much that people don't put enough emphasis on the sign in front of their store. A lot of business owners don't realize how great a good looking sign can look in front of their business.http://www.a1signs.com/about.htm
