#038 Forth Road Bridge

South Queensferry

Taken on the way back from a meeting in Dundee this afternoon.
Blue colour is courtesy of processing with the "wrong" white balance,
I liked it better than the true colour which was tinged with amber from city light pollution.

Also, I was a bit bored while driving back so tried some experiments from behind the dashboard.
This one was caught my attention:

Canon EOS 20D ,Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM
20s f/6.3 at 30.0mm iso100. On tripod. full exif

Very 'cool', the camera may think the colour's wrong but it definitely looks right.

Gorgeous. I too have been playing with using the "wrong" white balance lately - both in-camera and in RAW conversion. I think it is a better solution that messing with hue and saturation and is a strong tool for the artist. This is a wall-hanger. Cindy

Ahh - I was wondering if you had used a filter. Works really well in Blue.

This is gorgeous, I quite like it. Do you by any chance have the option of shooting in RAW? If so, you can can the WB setting and could have got the color you liked so much. But honestly, I find this very beautiful to view.

I love great accidents.. this is very beautiful in blue.. and the tones are almost a blue-green. Nice perspective as well
