Entrance to the Central Shrine to Lord Siva. This is lowest entrance way so that devotees must bow down to enter. Nandi guards the entrance. Siva and Lord of thee Dance on the pediment. Cental shrine has sanctum sanctorum (garbha Griha or womb room), a narrow corridor (antral), an antechamber (mandapa) and entry porch (ardhamandap). Open only on eastern side.
