Not just a cracking book, but the sunrise from my office window at around 8am this morning. This
is the view over the park into the city centre. I managed to get into work at a decent time, as
for once, I had a space to use in the carpark. Usually these are allocated to directors, and people
with long service. I qualify under the length of service, but as I give the car to Catherine in the
morning, it seems a shame to deny someone else a space.
The unfortunate flare on the lens, is more due to the window being filthy, but as it's been painted
shut following years of coats of paint, it wasn't shifting. And taking the photo out of the front
bay window would mean hanging out it, 50 feet above the street. Not a chance I was willing to
take, with the directors still coming into work!
Other than that it was a pretty quiet day. Going to make this short tonight, as I get Catherine
back following her conference!
