January 31b: Los Coronados

San Diego, CA

I’ve been showing my visiting friends around a bit. Today we went to Cabrillo Point where California Alta was discovered in 1542 by Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo.

This is a view looking south from atop Point Loma toward the Mexican islands, Los Coronados, about 18 miles away.

Great shot Robin, is fairly similar to one I took last year http://www4.pbase.com/herb1rm/image/35663481 This is such a great location, a must do for any visitor to San Diego.
