Thank you for your nice compliments, I have heard similar stories about the other side of Kashmir from the Kashmiris and I have seen the Dal Lake only on TV and in pictures, and I don't know whether I'll be able to visit it in my life time... I hope we learn from other countries' mistakes...

What lovely pics u have got and I really envy that I will never be able to see such a beuatiful place very easiliy. I am an Indian and you know how difficult it is for us to visit Pakistan....Northern areas is a far cry. I have been to Kargil , Dras and Leh on Indian side and was awestruck by the beauty and I was told by the people there that Gilgit , Hunza and Swat valleys are like heaven on earth. Skardu is just 200 km from Kargil but I dont know when our countries will stop fighting and open that road for common people. Long leave peace and happiness
