Cape Cod's saving is that we are out into the ocean, so get the warming effect, but dont count on it! It is very easily overwhelmed. We can get the coastal storms that bring in the stuff that we never knew was waiting for us.
Thats why we have both a coal and a wood stove.
And in the summer we do really get the cooling effect of the on-shore winds which give us about 10 degrees cooler temps than the inland mainland.
