Chick flicks. Guys just don’t “do” chick flicks.
Oh, we’ll watch them, … sometimes we even enjoy them.
As a rule though, give a guy a movie with explosions, … with guns
and bombs and surround-sound mayhem. Aliens, … rampaging robots, …
a scene or two with a really cute woman running around in panties and a
bra or even less, … brains splattering, … blood gushing. Good entertainment.
Women just don’t understand for some reason.

Now if you’ll excuse me, “Alien” is starting.
There’s a very cool scene with Sigourney Weaver in her panties and flimsy
T-shirt trying to evade an unstoppable Alien. Oh, and an explosion.
It’s a guy thing you know.

Many thanks, John. Followed the link and it would seem they are variation of the same game. Two main differences; in Chunka if you play on a 5 hole board you use five stones [ & seven for a seven hole board] and when the last legal play is made any stones still in play get left rather than being counted. Thanks again.

The game is called Mancala, and it’s a fast moving game of skill and strategy that can be enjoyed by players of all ages. Mancala is played throughout the world, and has been especially popular all over Egypt, the Middle East and Africa for centuries. The game dates back thousands of years, and is said to have originated from ancient Egypt. The rules are too complicated here to post at length, but here’s a link if you want to check it out for yourself. http://www.centralconnector.com/GAMES/mancala.html It’s a very easy game to play.

Yup, saw them and the game alongside them. What’s it called? We’ve got a Malay version called Chunka [not sure of the spelling but it’s phonetically correct!] that can be played on a 5 or 7 hole board. I’d heard there was a 6 hole version which also originated in the east but obviously with different rules. As we have a 7 hole board I guess we could block off the last two holes to play this version if you could let us know how to play?
btw I like your pictures too.
