Tallahassee / Quincy, Florida

Do you remember what I said when I started this PAD? I stated “We all have
our flaws and our little character defects. For me this has always been procrastination ”
Do you remember the image I took on the Friday the 21st of me dueling myself?
When my wife came home that evening she laughed and asked me to put my “toys”
away when I was finished playing with them, as she saw the two swords leaning
against the china hutch, I told her I would do so, … but here it is Monday the 24th
and they’re still there. I’m going to put them away, I promise! First I have to take
the photo, then I’ve got to process it from RAW to TIFF, then I’ve got to add my
watermark, then I’ll save it as JPG, and of course then I have to upload it to my PAD
and then write all this. But I’ll put them away! Honest!
(Procrastination, … it’s THIS man’s thing anyway!)

Dawn, I'm half Italian, and I'm bigger than her. That's why I love her more. And I **AM** a better cook. Gerie is also an excellent cook, but I am better. Even she will admit it. So there. Pllltt. (John is bing mature this evening.)

He DARES to say that to an FB Italian. (grin-can't tell I have a wee drop eh?) And this is on the picture of swords no less.. umm.. John.. Ya BETTER make sure they're put away!

grrrrrrrrrrr
now to clarify this picture I must add that John does 99% of the cooking because he prefers his own cooking and has on more than one occasion made unfavorable comments on the taste and cooking abilities of his wife! hmmph!!!!!!!! Admittedly I do love just about everything he makes but I also have excellent culinary skills of my own, being the full-blooded Italian that I am. So, I'm slacking off on the dishes while I'm away, eh!!
long sigh...I have to stop writing about food now as I barely are today and am starving!!
truce?
love, gerie

Now now Dawn, … I’ll have you know that I do 99% of all the cooking in my home! I would far rather have one of my tasty home cooked meals than a cold crusty old pizza! Of course, we have a sweet arrangement, … I do the cooking because I’m GREAT at it (as are most men), and Gerie does the cleaning. When she’s gone, I still do MY job, but she falls short on hers! LOL!

re: "the kitchen WILL look exactly as I left it!!"
Hmm....Well, if it's a short trip, and he remembers to throw away the pizza box.. that should work.. no? *grin*

Hmmm, I do believe my dear Husband has earned an advanced degree in the fine art of procrastination! In defense of all the men viewing his PAD, I don’t think he can use the excuse, “It’s a man thing!!” In this case, it’s a ‘John’ thing, but I love you anyway, darlin’!

Of course, being the ‘eternal optimist’ that I am, I know I will return one day from a trip and the kitchen WILL look exactly as I left it!! LOL!!

Love, your sweet n innocent little ole wife

Gerie knows me Dawn, she knows me. She was away last week on a business trip as well, came home Friday night and left again Sunday morning. When she was in her hotel room and saw all the rocks on the table from your challenge, she called me on the phone a said “John! I KNOW you’re going to put all those rocks back where they go!” I did too, … about 15 minutes before she got home Friday night. LOL! Gerie, … when you read this tonight, I PROMISE those swords will be put away before you get here! Really! (No, I haven’t done it yet.

What cracks me up... is that since Gerie is away..
WOULD she have even known that they haven't been put away yet?
Kudo's for honest fellow.... and then again.. Gerie would have
probably guessed it anyhows.. *wink*

I love swords and daggers. They remind me of a prince who will come and rescue me, just as we get told when we are little girls. Of course, this would be masculine then. Nice Image and I love the lighting in this picture, how it accentuates the daggers or swords.
