Dragged my carcass off the bed at O-dark-30 this morning, hoping for a good sunrise, and naturally this was the morning that the sky refused to perform. Not wanting to waste having missed a sunday lie-in, I hit the road looking for frosty shots. I pulled over at Heatons Bridge and popped a few off on the pub and canal. I particularly liked this view, with a single narrowboat. The water dead flat giving good reflections and the frost still lying thick in the shadows, and on the roof of the narrowboat.
A lovely crisp, clear (and b***** cold!) morning, so I suppose it was worth getting up before dawn.
All comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
