frost flower ~ January 21st

I saw this gorgeous frost mother nature left for us this morning. I was spellbound by it! Now I'm running late for work, but it was worth it! ( I stayed late yesterday anyway) :-)
I have a second favorite....

.... and if you love the frost as much as me.... here's fast gallery I threw together of it...

It does look like a flower. Beautiful color and texture.

It's beautiful but I think it might be time to turn up the heat.

I've worked with a lot of satellite imagery and I thought at first
it was a shot from space :-) Very coooool.

Every single one is excellent, Lori. At first I thought it was an oil painting. Thanks for the share

This is a fantastic image, Lori. You have good eyes. You say you were running late? How'd you find time to put the gallery together? I agree, it was certainly worth it. All great images. What window was this - car, home?
