Island of Sumatra, Indonesia (Jan. 13, 2005) - Aviation Machinist's Mate 2nd Class Derek Barnum returns a "thumbs up" to appreciative Indonesian men after dropping a load of humanitarian relief supplies for Tsunami victims near the coastal regions of Indonesia. Barnum is assigned to Helicopter Combat Support Squadron Five (HC-5), which has been supplying air support for the humanitarian relief efforts throughout Sumantra, Indonesia. HC-5 is currently deployed aboard the Military Sealift Command (MSC) combat stores ship USNS Concord (T-AFS 5), operating in the Indian Ocean in support of Operation Unified Assistance.
