Here you can see the phase 3 wall, make of volcanic basalt from the hills north of Su Nuraxi, and a phase 4 (or 5) building that was installed between the keep and the phase 3 defensive wall. By that point the keep no longer had any military value, and archeologists think it was abandoned because they have found very few artifacts inside it.
