House lies nearly on its side in Glebruk, Sumatra

Region of Glebruk, Sumatra, Indonesia (Jan. 17, 2005) - A house lies nearly on its side in the region of Glebruk, one of the coastal towns hit by the massive Tsunami that struck December 26, 2004. Members from the United Nations (UN), USAID, the Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA), the Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART), and the World Health Organization (WHO) are conducting surveys in the region of Banda Aceh, Sumatra to determine the needs of Indigenous Displaced Persons (IDPs), the victims of the Tsunami that struck South East Asia.
