I own a beautiful solid oak roll top desk that I bought 16 years ago and intend to pass down to one of my kids when I croak. Gerie has a nice computer desk that belonged to my Dad, and we even have a gorgeous hand finished solid wood dining table. Despite all the comfortable places to sit and work on paperwork, my darling wife still finds it most comfortable to sit on the floor in the bedroom in her red satin jammies and work on paperwork accumulated during the Christmas Season. A throwback to her hippie days in San Francisco no doubt. It’s one of the enduring qualities of this wonderful woman that makes me love her so much.
