The six days of rain that we recently had seemed like forty to a native Southern Californian.
The amount that fell in a few days was equal to the average for an entire rainy season.
Anyway, it filled many of the local ponds to fullest that they have been in years.
I like this image as the new growth is reflected in the water, while the old leaves decay beneath the surface.
