Electric razors are for wimps and whiners. Give a man hot water, …
the fresh smell of soap, … a good sharp double edge razor. There’s
few things more satisfying or refreshing than the morning mystical magic
of a good close shave. It’s uniquely a guy thing.

Dawn, my ex-wife used my straight razor to open some cardboard boxes and ruined it; otherwise I’d still be using that sweetie. The double-edged blade works fine, … but it is getting harder to find the blades in stores. It seems the whole freaking world is selling the crappy little plastic disposable ones now.

Cool shot and this totally fits your theme. If the ladies only knew what it is like to shave with a REAL RAZOR blade. Not those laser cut disposables, but a real razor blade like you would find in the hardware section or a box cutter. And good for you for not pre-trimming your beard before you straight hacked into it! Tough guy!

yeah.. but I had my eyebrows waxed yesterday.. OUCH! What? This isn't a old fashioned fold out straight blade? (Dawn ducks and runs) ;)

Susanne, … Sweetie, … I’m not sure I would want a woman holding a razor at my throat LOL

Thank you Ms Jude, … One advantage of having a beard is there isn’t that much I have to shave each day. It’s tough to get the camera tripod close enough to self-focus on a close up of the face. I don’t know how you ladies do it. (Get such nice close self portraits that is, … not shave your faces.)

Nice perspective and detail, john..

Unless...women hands are the ones guiding the blade! I like this picture a lot, maybe because I used to love to watch my husband shave. Very...manly.
