Strangely this is the only picture of Uhtua i have here. Maybe because i've never really had time to go and look around there - the travel company hasn't often seemed to share my interest to it. Uhtua, officially Kalevala, is a small town northeast from Vuokkiniemi. Interesting, in my opinion, with many different kinds of buildings. But also poverty is much more visible, somehow, than for example in Jyskyjärvi.

This outhouse was and is on the yard of the house where we stayed at Olga's and Toivo's at 2004. In the corner of Partisan and Lenin streets, if i'm not mistaken.
