Tallahassee / Quincy, Florida

Ahhh, the basic home defense machine gun. This is one of three high powered
rapid fire “machine guns” in my personal home defense armory, … a Hungarian
SA 85 7.62 X 39 Caliber with a 75 round drum capacity. If Mr. Badman wants
to come to my home and mess with me or mine, … or if he thinks that what I
own should be in his possession rather than mine, I hope for his sake he knows
how to duck and run, … FAST. A man doesn’t mess around when protecting his
family and home, ... nor should he. It’s a guy thing you know.

As a post script to our friends from foreign countries that may be viewing this,
I want to add that in this country the Constitution guarantees that every citizen
that has not committed a felony or has not been adjudicated mentally incompetent
has the RIGHT to own firearms and to keep them in his or her home. Though I’m
sure you country’s government may disagree with me, in my opinion it’s one of
the things that makes this country great. The American government doesn’t
“rule” us or “control” us, but allows us the right to choose for ourselves the laws
that we need in order to live a safe and prosperous life. I thank God that I live
in America, … not because I own a weapon like this without fear of police or
government interference and persecution, but because I **CAN** own one if I
choose to and am accorded the dignity of being a free man to make that decision.
Again, … it’s a guy thing.

Hi ! This isn't a gun, it is a watering can.
For my necessity, the best one is my Beretta 98F with 16 cartridges.
Beretta never missed a shot.
many greetings from Italy.

long sigh... ah yes, this is one of the political arenas we have both realized we have to 'respectfully' agree to disagree, right, Hon?!

Well, 2 points about yesterday’s PAD. 1st point, I wasn’t feeling well at all, … I was in a lot of pain, and just wanted to do a quick “down and dirty” photo to get it on the PAD. It’s not up to my own personal standards of photography and for that I’m sorry. 2nd point, like you Dawn I was trained by my father at a very early age to safely handle firearms. At one time I had a collection of over 40 of them, … and amazingly I’ve never used one ONCE to rob a 7-11 or a liquor store or to go on a wild rampage shooting up my neighborhood. My wife Gerie is very anti-gun, … and it’s led for some interesting discussions in our home. I was very amused when a wild possum hissed at her and bared his teeth on the back deck of our little farm home, … and she immediately informed me she wanted a small handgun and to be taught how to use it. Firearms are not toys, … nor should they ever be treated as such. They are very valuable tools used to protect home and country and should be treated with respect.

Dude, but a machine gun? (Dawn smacks forehead with hand) Okay, I have a old german 1940 slideback rifle.. My Dad figured if That sound alone didn't scare them.... He gave it to me when I was 12. (He was a gunsmith for a few years-so I was well trained in their 'safe' use from age oh.. 4 or 5. I think if people were trained in that and popped a few tin cans like I did.. they'd have a heck of a lot more respect for what guns can do) But a Machine gun???.. Dude! (lol, gotta admit.. it fits your PAD John!)
