Yesterday morning we had fog which would have been great to shoot in but I needed to work so I missed that opportunity. When I went to bed last night there was a little fog by my pond so I was excited about getting up early for a shoot. However, it started to snow about three in the morning making for some great opportunities. I found this guy just east of town perched on a branch looking for breakfast. I did not want to disturb him so this is shot with a Nikon 80-400mm VR and handheld while still in my car. This is a cropped version so some detail is lost. Right now it is sunny, bright and warming up.
