SP Friday-quick effort

Okay, put a teacher on a 3 week vacation..
what does she do..
lose track of the days...
Ek.. SP Friday!
(you mean I didn't have to drag my camera out into
the rainy weather on the way to the mailbox?)

Okay, no makeup, sit in front of fireplace..
Aim, smile, click.. Eeeshh.. these are ORANGE..
Play in Photoshop..
Fresco, Desaturate..
add a 20% color touch up on the eyes..
Quick SP!

side note: Linda- Hugz to you and your family!

My earlier PAD of the day and the rain goes on...

Canon EOS 300D Digital Rebel
1/4s f/5.0 at 37.0mm iso800 full exif

other sizes: small medium large auto

Excellent..half SP! I love how you bring out this effect! Very well done indeed Dawn.

Often something done really quickly turns out to be really good. It is possible to fuss with these until they're just dead. This is better than if you had worked on it all day. Very immediate and appealing.

May be quick but has lots of appeal. Well done.

Refreshing, pleasant, gentle.
We do like the effect and the crop.
The smile is the precious final touch!

I agree with the others, almost looks like a charcoal sketch. Nice job.

Actually Dawn, I like this. I like it a lot! It has a nice happy “relaxed” feeling to it, … a peek into your soul for the moment.

Very fun SP, Dawn!

Great SP!

Agree that the smaller size works better, but a very cool shot indeed!

I agree Chris, Medium and Small work best on this.. otherwise.. too grainy... but hey.. gotta play on SP day. ;)

Pretty cool effort. It reminds me of those low-res masterpieces you get now and again from a camera phone. It works better, IMO, at a smaller size. Very nice.

Playful ~ I like the effects too
