Just south of Auckland, we came o our first tourist stop, The Waitomo Glow Worm Caves.

When we finished the tour and were walking back to the car, I saw a sign saying scenic overview. Naturally we wanted to see everything so Kitty and I started walking through the cow pasture to the overview. Alex and Spence preferred to stay with the car. As we were walking single file on a cow path, I heard kitty behind me fall and a loud crack. I looked around and Kitty was on the ground holding her leg and her foot was now hanging perpendicular to her leg. After reassuring Kitty that help would be on the way, I ran back to the cave’s office and they called an ambulance
