We left the Marquesas, stopped for a bit at Fakarava an island in the Tuamotos, a group of atolls that used to be called “the dangerous Archepelego”and then we sailed on to Papeete on the Island of Tahiti. In Papeete, we tied stern to the Cay along the main road in the center of town. This was the first town of any size that we had been in for almost five months.
