Roses

How beautiful a rose can be
When not restricted by anxiety
When not expected to be a rose
How quickly ones imagination grows
How existentially imagination flows
When we bring the realities to a close
Then how true beauty shows.

very sensuous. I like the soft focus and high key. Has a spanish look to it. O'lea!

Nice composition. The rose in the back is a unique change of pace. Cheers.

Susanne,

I really like this one very much. I like the rose with its steam hidden in the dress. It reminds me of our lives. We often show people the beautiful side of things but keep hidden the thorns that are digging into our being and making us bleed.

Very nice toning, creative posturing and 'prop'. Well done, Susanne.

This is a strong shot. I like the way the plum colour is how I imagine the colour of the dress to be, judging by the fabric (if that makes any sense). The rose is a great touch and the composition is fantastic.

Wonderfully beautiful Susanne and a nice poem to present this masterpeice. This reminds me of a painting I saw in a gallery shop in the French Quarter.

Beautiful and interesting image Susanne, … ummm, … where does the stem of the rose go? (Grin) Hope you took the thorns off!

No problem about the double. It might appear that my picture is similiar to Judes, because I love the high Key images myself. I think our tones are different though and poses and such.
Guest 29-Dec-2004 19:55
sorry for the double..
