THE BREAST

When I waken in the morning I used to look out on a vista of
trees in the distance. It was a lovely view that always started
my day with a smile. A few weeks ago I awoke to the sound of banging
and power tools. Not being a man, this didn't entirely thrill me. I was
however curious about what the ruckus was all about.

Well now I know. The powers that be in our little town have
decided that we need a new salt house to replace the salt house that
collapsed last year. What I don't understand is why they thought
it would best be house in an enormous breast.
You would have to agree I think that there is now something
very Fellini or Woody Allen like about my view?

I was impressed today when I looked over and saw these
two men working on the roof without any aids to keep them
from sliding off the mammoth breast.
You probably cant tell from this photo, but they are quite high up.
Why we need such an enormous structure for salt is beyond me. This is
New York, not exactly the snow capitol of the world.

Does seem a rather odd shape for a salt warehouse!

Most men like big breasts ... but there is a limit ")

When I first read your narrative I'm thinking Salt house, like where they cure bacon in the old days... Hmmm, I think... we're talking about Westchester County here.....Ok, I got that straight now.

But you couldn't finish up your year without posting your breast photo could you.... hehehe

hmm . . are you looking DOWN on them from a higher vantage point . . or UP at them from a lower one??? My perspective is discombobulated here . . . not to mention this "salt house roof" appears to go on FOR-EV-AH!!!

I'm so sorry about your view, but your narrative made me chuckle.

Being men, these guys are probably loving the oppportunity to be reminded of their mother's milk as they go about their work. Quite an unusual photo and view.

Well, a semi-dome like that will shed snow pretty well - avoiding another collapse :)

It sure looks to me like they are roped in (white lines that hook near the top), but perhaps that's something else..

Woody Allen view,, I like that! lol -- Very interesting dof, that sure does look high.
You might think I'm crazy, but I'd love to join them up there. I like to climb radio towers. Great for picture taking!
